Since its inception in 1976, the Nebraska Theatre Caravan has produced over 100 fully mounted productions, many of which were new works, and has played to 160 Nebraska communities and hundreds of others across the nation. The national tour of A Christmas Carol has performed in over 600 cities in 49 states and 4 Canadian provinces, and has been seen by over 3 million audience members.

COVID-19 UPDATE

For over 40 years, the Nebraska Theatre Caravan has had the privilege of sharing the magic of A Christmas Carol with communities across the United States. It is an experience that our touring company, venue partners and patrons look forward to each holiday season. With the uncertainties surrounding COVID-19, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 tour of A Christmas Carol. While we are heartbroken to pause this long-running tradition, we must safeguard the health of our company members and do our part to help stop the spread of COVID-19 in the communities that we serve. We are so grateful for the support we have received from our community partners for the last four decades and we cannot wait for the glorious return of live theatre in 2021!
